our experience from previous year: 100€ per week (food, accomodation) + transport costs
What happened last year? What you can expected?
the normal day on Balkan ...
We
spent a lot of time travelling in the cars. It was very hot, but it
couldn’t spoil our mood. Actually, the biggest demand was for the
car without air conditioning. Our favourite mantra was the one of
Shri Vahana and we would also asked Shri Ganesha and Shri Hanumana
for auspiciousness. They were there with us when we were rushing down
the highway, rolling down the steep winding roads leading to valleys
and also when we were driving round the narrow cliffs of Montenegro.
When we got cabin fever, we changed the car crews.
Apart
from the capital cities, we had also planned some other stops on our
journey. One of the first stops was in Srebrenica.
As well as we feel love on the
collective level, by this huge cemetery, we were overcome by panic,
which spread quickly from one heart to another. Our presence drew
attention not only of the local residents. In the end, we spread
vibrated salt around the place and left the havan for another
occasion. It was clear that this region of Bosnia and Herzegovina
needs our attention, but the forces present there were literally
taking our breath away. It
remains a question, whether to go there again this year.
On the
mountain tops, in the company of cows and silence, we took a breath
and the ripples on the water surface calmed down.
It is
easier to be with a thousand yogis in a harmonious meditation, than
to get along with each other and come to terms in a small group.
There were moments, when every one of us had hard times and tears
flowed. We were
cleansing ourselves and our surroundings.
Try to persuade yogis, who believe they have blessed attention and
consciousness, that it’s the right time to leave some place. Not
everyone agrees. I must say that there were really difficult tests,
but whenever there were negativities among us, collective meditation
was an effective defence, which unified our hearts and minds and
brought comforting shared experiences.
So
called “waiting for the havan” with a view of the mountain tops
and valleys was a reward for those who decided to leave Sarajevo. The
yogis that stayed behind created a home base, which was a blessing
when we came back heated by the sun and a cold shower and meal
prepared with love put us back on our feet.
Sarajevo
was one of the most beautiful places we visited. Nineteen of us
shared a three-room flat and thanks to this power we were very
successful. Everyone found his or her place; someone would
enthusiastically distribute the leaflets, other yogis gave
realization, while someone else was cooking, which everyone always
appreciated. The force of a satisfied collective worked again. We
definitely want to visit Sarajevo again. This time, we want to
concentrate on it more and work with children and students at schools
too. In Sarajevo, we will spend the first 5 days.
Every
time, after we arrived in a city, we looked for a place to spend the
night. Some hostels were just waiting for us, so right in the first
accommodation, we gave realization to the owner. She couldn’t wait
for it and after being asked “do you want to meditate with us”
just immediately replied “yes”.
This
time, we have an ally in Sarajevo, Ivanka Djukic, who is studying in
Vienna and whose flat in Sarajevo will be at our disposal while we
are there.
When we
arrived in a new city, the scenario was practically always like this
- a very successful realization giving on the main street, where all
the local residents were going for a stroll in the cool of the
evening. The following day, havan or puja was performed and in the
evening we went back to the street. This time, with generally less
people interested than the previous day. The third day, we relaxed a
bit and usually continued our journey. When we did stay longer, we
did another puja or havan, distributed leaflets and invitations for
the public programmes organised by the local yogis (Belgrade, Tirana,
Shkodra).
In
Mostar, we had some tough times. The city is traditionally divided
into Christian and Muslim parts, which we could just guess from the
buildings and clothing of the local people. In the park where we took
out the Charlie chakra, three boys noticed us in a while. They were
curious, sat down by us and were given realization. Their eyes were
so shining and they were very excited; so we were expecting a
wonderful evening full of open-hearted, prepared people, as was the
case of the cities we visited before. The boys left and a policeman
came to walk us out of the park, telling us that such activities were
banned there. He sent us out to the streets, we gave him realization
and went to the main street of the city. There, we sat down at the
best place available and went into the witness state. We were feeling
rather uneasy as the passers-by didn’t show any reaction to our
presence, neither positive nor negative. We felt quite heavy there,
but as the common equipment of a yogi in the Balkans includes a
travel set of items needed for puja and havan, we decided, after
considering the situation, to cleanse the city by performing a puja.
It was interesting to notice that there was not even a tiny flower to
be bought in the whole city. People from that region have no time to
enjoy real flowers. Thus we plucked two flowers of rosebay out of a
bush and went back to the Salve Regina hotel to worship Shri Mataji.
In the morning, we spread vibrated salt and water all around the
city. We might go to
this city again, during this year’s tour.
Kosovo,
from which we got the invitation for the tour, was the heaviest place
on vibrational level. The realization giving was still going well,
but we started to feel tired during this third week of the tour.
Renata, as she was watching us, likened our behaviour to the way the
Balkan states behave. It culminated in an understandable desire of
some yogis to leave for home earlier...
We
didn’t want to give in to the negativities too much, so only after
doing everything we could, starting with puja, realization giving,
vibrating the city and finishing with havan, we left Kosovo, one day
earlier than planned. After crossing the border with Macedonia, we
felt a tremendous relief and it was obvious that all the unpleasant
things we experienced in Kosovo was the working of the negativities.
We will definitely
go back to Kosovo, because the people there are also ready and
waiting for the blissful love of Shri Mataji, which is flowing
through us. However, this experience also contributed to the fact,
that we have planned the tour for only two weeks this time.
All the
love we could pass on in the Balkans came back to us many times after
the return. We felt beautiful vibrations long after our arrival and
everything was happening all by itself. Being witness to the
happenings around us at home suddenly became a matter of course. The
desire to organize realization tour in the Balkans is also connected
to a great blessing, bestowed upon us by Shri Mataji. She was
protecting us and we are grateful for all the experiences. During our
journey, we experienced beautiful moments when we were completely
dissolved in Shri Mataji’s grace. When we stopped for the evening
footsoak on the seashore and the only witnesses were the stars, or
when we bathed in the sea and felt like children. Actually, such
experiences cannot be expressed by words so, if you have the
slightest desire, we invite you to participate in the tour and have a
firsthand experience.
As
for the preparations, we already have a rough programme and we are in
touch with the yogis in the Balkans. So far, there are five of us,
yogis from the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Austria. Yogis are making
donations with paypal. The money is used for the rental of the
premises for the public programmes, support to the local sahaj
centres and yogis and partly as a contribution to the petrol
expenses. We still need another car, so we would like to ask you to
lend us one or make a bandhan. We also hope that five yogis is not
the final number of participants.
Thank you for your enlightened atnetionon our common thing. Jai Sri Mataji
Great post!!
